COMMUNITY MINISTRY

It is that time of year!!!!!

With the state of our economy, the needs are sure to be many this year. We are looking for volunteers to help deliver the baskets. There will be a sign up in the Narthex. The delivery dates are November 21^st and December 19^th. Look for more details to follow.

Also, look in the bulletin for our weekly grocery list for the food pantry. We will be listing 3 or 4 items a week that the pantry is in need of. You have been more than generous with our food pantry ministry and for this we thank you!! If you are unable to make it to the grocery, we also accept monetary donations to the Good Sam fund.

Also, our Angel tree will be up before you know it. This is a very special ministry. Please, find it in your hearts to reach deep within and help others this season.

CD MINISTRY UNDER WAY....CALLING ALL MEMBERS... YOUNG AND AGING.....With bad weather approaching (yuk) we want you to remember our new CD ministry....Now you will never have to miss a service again....If you know you can’t make it to church.... just give us a call and we will be sure to get you a CD of our entire service from beginning to end.....Don’t have a CD Player... no problem, we have one you can borrow....We want Jesus in your heart every Sunday!!

Rounding Up    and    Recruiting Choir Members!

POSITIONS OPEN:  Soprano – Alto – Tenor – Bass

HOURS:  We practice every Sunday morning beginning at 9:15am until the director gets tired or 10:15am, whichever comes first. There are occasional opportunities for overtime at the rate of thanks-and-a-half.

Join the Praise Team

     We are looking for musicians of all ages (encouraging the younger generation to come and join in praising

    the Lord!!) The Praise Band practices on Thursday Nights at 7:00 pm. Come check us out.!!

    Our church ministry will be greatly blessed if every person commits to support God’s work through whatever personal gifts

    you may  have. We need volunteers in every area of ministry from our youth through our elderly: serving during the church

    services as ushers, lay readers, choir, etc…, Sunday School, Youth programs, homebound and hospital visitors, property fix-up

    needs, just to name a few. Your treasure (money) is all a gift from God and we need your support. It costs lots of money to run

     a church - paying bills from  personnel to electricity, retiring our deficit, and purchasing needed equipment eg. tables for

    fellowship, and supplies eg. items for  worship enhancement, etc…

    We really need a miracle and only you can make it happen. Thanks in advance. May God bless each of you and through you let
